Elana Fertig, PhD
Advisor
Dr. Fertig runs an NCI-funded hybrid computational and experimental lab in cancer systems biology and therapeutic response. She is the Director of the Division / Research Program in Quantitative Sciences, co-Director of the Convergence Institute, and Associate Director of Quantitative Sciences at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University. Her NCI-funded laboratory blends experimental and quantitative modeling of therapeutic resistance in cancer. Using a suite of computational, mathematical, and AI-based models, her lab works to determine biomarkers and molecular mechanisms of therapeutic resistance from multi-platform genomics data.
